CAN ANC HELP ME?

Who can benefit from personal nutrition counseling at ANC?

Almost anyone can. We work with patients one-on-one because no two nutrition recommendations are the same since no two people are the same. Our dietitians have advanced credentialing and training in low FODMAP instruction and integrative and functional nutrition therapy.

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT

Whether you are struggling to lose weight or to gain weight, have a slow or fast metabolism and you want to manage your weight in the healthiest and most sustainable way possible. Work with our registered dietitians to find the best way for you to reach and, most importantly, maintain your weight goal.

HEART DISEASE

Targeting nutrition therapy for high cholesterol, blood pressure, triglycerides, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, heart failure, heart attack, stroke and an overall healthy heart. If you have any of these conditions or have family history of these conditions, reach out to our dietitians to help manage it through nutrition counseling

DIABETES

Pre-diabetes, borderline diabetes, insulin resistance, type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes are all conditions that can benefit from individualized nutrition counseling to help manage blood sugars, obtain a more optimal blood sugar range and help stave off the long term complications linked to diabetes.

WOMEN'S HEALTH

Those with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, hormone imbalance, infertility, menopause, or who are pregnant or breastfeeding can all significantly benefit from working with a registered dietitian to create a plan tailored to your specific needs.

THYROID CONDITIONS

Our Registered Dietitians can help if you have been diagnosed with a thyroid condition such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Grave's Disease or thyroid cancer. We are trained to help you feel your best and manage your symptoms through individualized nutrition therapy. We can ensure adequate intake of nutrients that are specific importance to the health of the thyroid gland like iodine, selenium and zinc.

GI DISORDERS

GI disorders are our specialty! Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), Celiac Disease, Eosinophillic Esophagitis (EoE), GERD, Gastritis, Gastroparesis, Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Diverticulitis, Diverticulosis, Gastric Bypass/Bariatric Surgery all require different approaches to nutrition therapy.  We work to get to the bottom (the root cause) of your symptoms.

EMOTIONAL EATING

Emotional eating can be triggered by many reasons: boredom, anxiety, stress, feeling lonely or sad among many other emotions. Unfortunately, eating doesn't quell those feelings for the long-term. So let's find a better solution. Let us help you repair your relationship with food and teach you how to become a more mindful and intuitive eater.

ALLERGIES & INTOLERANCES

Our Registered Dietitians are experienced in Therapeutic Elimination Diets, Low Histamine Diet, Low FODMAP diet, Restoration Diet, Gluten Free Diet, Specific Carbohydrate Diet and work with each client to identify specific food triggers.

PREVENTATIVE CARE

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This is especially important if you have a family history of any illness/disease or disorder, especially heart disease, diabetes and obesity. Nutrition counseling can help you to obtain optimal health and wellness as well as prevent chronic disease.
